Hornington Manor Wedding Photographer

Ella & Alex’s wedding at Hornington Manor was such a delight wasn’t it?! I’m very proud to now be an honorary member of the bridal party’s highly coveted and much loved wolf-pack, we had so much fun throughout the day. It’s just what I want with every wedding, to come in as a best friend and from the minute go capture all the fun by joining in. From the copious amountshipster of tears during the ceremony and speeches to the mid-meal singalong with Shane Durrant on the piano, to a bouncing and limbo-sporting dance-floor with Hipster Band (I recommended to the bride & groom). What didn’t Ella & Alex’s Hornington Manor wedding have?!

Hornington Manor is one of York’s best wedding venues I feel. You get the whole wedding venue to yourself for the weekend, so you can have a big ass barbecue with your pals the afternoon and evening before, and a slightly calmer morning following the wedding for a hungover team breakfast. Hornington Manor is surrounded by beautiful countryside, and plenty of resident sheep and llamas to baah their congratulations to you.

Ella wore a stunning Savin London wedding dress, with these glorious sparkling wings attached to the shoulders. It was very fabulous, and very Ella. She looked incredible floating the wings around Alex dressed in super smart black tie. Classy and super fun, just the way we like it!

Ella & Alex met at Leeds University at the classic Leeds club night, Sticky Feet – a night I frequented many times during my three years at Leeds College of Art! They went from the floor of Sticky Feet to the much cleaner and less sticky dance-floor of Hornington Manor.
