I like to take my time, and get to know you guys as best as possible. For the first hour or so, it’ll just feel like we’re hanging out! I take the opportunity to learn as much about your day as I can too, like timings, locations, names, so I’m best prepared for your day.
We’ll be walking around different locations, chatting, laughing and exploring. I’ll be asking you questions and capturing your reactions to general conversation. I’m looking to capture your natural laughter, and connection between each other, never anything that looks unnatural or forced.
I’ll be looking for gorgeous light, or locations that spark ideas in my mind. The shoot’s as much practice for me as it is for you. I will direct and instruct you to stand in places, and position your bodies in the light (but no cringe!)
During the shoot, you’ll see for yourselves my approach, and understand what I’m looking for. By the end, you'll feel more comfortable and confident for the wedding day, and looking back at how much you actually enjoyed it. You’ll be excited to receive the photos, and I’ll be excited to get them to you too.
It's natural to feel awkward when you're doing something that you've never done before so I use techniques that help you feel more at ease in front of the camera. You'll enjoy it, you'll feel confident after the shoot, and I'm sure you'll both love the pics afterwards!

Usually between 2-4 months before your wedding, on a weekday. Anytime when it's bright before the sun goes down is great, at a time that works for you. I love a golden hour shoot the most though, it really does produce the most stunning backdrop!

Wear something that makes you feel great! I encourage you to be yourselves since my aim is to capture your personalities. Top tip - comfortable shoes are the way to go! And no bags, or else I'll end up carrying them haha!

It rains in a lot of my sessions, but usually stops after a few minutes. I always advise couples to go with the flow; wind and a bit of rain can look amazing in photos! In case there's a storm, I’m happy to move our shoot, depending on my schedule.
