Left Bank Wedding Photographer. It was lovely to return to one of my favourite home venues in Leeds, Left Bank, for Andrew & Sara’s wedding.

After our hilarious pre wedding shoot in Roundhay with these two a few weeks before their wedding, I was super excited to join them at Left Bank. Andrew & Sara met at Leeds University Christians Union society and haven’t looked back since. They have such a wonderful love for life, and a brilliant energy between them that their wedding reflected so brilliantly.

Left Bank is such a dynamic, chilled out and authentic venue. I love the iconic window at the front of the church (that I’ve tried to include in so many shots haha, I just like it so much), and the lawn outside that is so nice for guests to just hang out in the sun. It’s got a really nice warm colour to it inside, and the different angles you can find around the space just keep giving. I’m lucky enough to be recommended there, and photograph many of their events and art installations! It was the perfect setting for A+S’s big day.

I joined Sara and her two bridesmaids dressed in the wedding’s summery theme colour yellow in Meanwood before heading off to South Parade Baptist Church for the ceremony. Andrew was there with his best man and younger brother, dressed in their top and tales. Andrew, never seen without a cup of tea must’ve been on his fifth or sixth of the day by then!

Sara arrived, super excited and bounded down the aisle to join Andrew at the front. With a powerful live band accompanying the hymns, the singing was the loudest and best I’ve ever heard at a wedding!

Andrew & Sara sang and danced their way out, through a confetti throwing and into the wedding car to take us to Kirkstall Abbey. It was lovely having a few wedding photos at Kirkstall Abbey, and A+S are so much fun with each other on the portrait shoot, I think the snaps really capture them both perfectly!

Catering for the wedding was Leeds based charity, Shine who work with women ex-offenders and support the local community providing opportunities and raising aspirations. It was great for such great food to be provided from such a worthy cause.

With the night underway and all the evening guests in, A+S had an emotional first dance followed by a busy dance floor. Everyone was up and just going for it! Easy work for me as the dance moves just kept getting wilder and wilder.
