When Lucy and Rob got engaged and before they’d booked anything, Lucy messaged me asking for recommendations for smaller wedding venues in Leeds city centre. I immediately sent them the Leeds Library, a private library and unique alternative Leeds wedding venue founded in 1768 in the heart of the city. I knew they’d love it, and they booked it.
The Leeds Library as a Yorkshire wedding venue is so beautiful, there’s so many angles little corners full of opportunity to let your imagination run wild, both photographically and literarily.
With their sexy Leeds city centre wedding reception venue, the Lost and Found just a stone’s throw away, we skipped across the road for some quick cool pics in the Victoria Arcade before sitting down for a gorgeous, perfectly un-traditional wedding meal. There Lost & Found nailed the food, it was perfect. I know Lucy & Rob through the enigmatic, outrageously fun and dastardly sexy, Liv & Tom, a couple who booked me for their own wedding in 2022 and since then I’ve been snapping many of their friends’ weddings. It is such a an honour recommended so highly by them, because every wedding I shoot that they’re at is INCREDIBLE. So thank you Liv & Tom, love you guys! Maybe I’ll pin you back to the top of my insta 😉
As expected, the night got beautifully messy. My favourite guest award goes to the guy who spilt all his Jäger shots… then drank the spilt liquid straight from the tray like a true hero. He’s getting married in two weeks himself…. and I fully expect a repeat performance.
