Hornington Manor Candid Wedding photography – Helen & Steven’s springtime wedding at one of Yorkshire’s best barn venues

Belting out Unwritten at the top of your lungs with your girls. Dancing in the courtyard with Aperol Spritz sloshing. Basking in the golden hour sunshine on your faces. Feeling like a kid again on the swings… except it’s your wedding day. Whiskies in the lounge and smoking cigars like you absolutely know what you’re doing. Tears with your Dad, the proudest man in the world today. Opening a card to find your wife-to-be has bought you seats at the best restaurant in the world (Osteria Francescana in Modena, Italia!) 🤍

Saturday was perfect. I always describe myself as a colourful, fun wedding photographer, and I was completely in my element with Helen & Steven.

After ten years together, on Saturday they put a ring on it at Hornington Manor surrounded by sunshine, rolling fields and hundreds of lambs!

Helen & Steven’s supplier line up was Yorkshire’s finest – the @thehogandapple with their mini pork pies and mini pints, @charlottewilsonmua & @hairbyoliviajames bringing such warmth and fun to the morning (and making Helen look unreal), Anita @lovageceremonies delivering a ceremony full of genuine connection and heart, and @mayfield_farm_flowers locally grown, adding colour everywhere you looked. @abialtonmusician’s beautiful voice brought the dancefloor starting about 6 hours forward in the courtyard! And ofc, myself, Jenna and Mollie of @every.moment.captured_ behind the lenses!

Helen & Steven, I feel we’ve become so close and I’m gutted it’s all over!! It was such an incredible weekend, one no one will ever forget.
