Leeds Same Sex Wedding Photographer | F+S’s Wedding at East Riddlesden Hall | Hamish Irvine Wedding Photography
Last week I met F+S for their pre wedding shoot, for which it absolutely tipped it down. We trod off into some woods as the rain soaked their wee dog Ernie, make up was running and one’s top going see through (haha!) But in the ten minutes of shooting, I captured these two looking so natural, both completely smitten with each other, constantly laughing and chatting away, even in the pouring rain. Which is just F+S. I knew their wedding at East Riddlesden Hall would be just as fun.
They did however bring the rain with them, but only for the bits when we were inside (phew)! I joined S at Hollins Hall first for having her hair done. F had bought her presents of something old, new, all looked so good together. Then I was off to our other just as lovely bride at their cute house, check out their fridge scrabble, it’s ace.
As their guests boarded an old bus from Hollins Hall to East Riddlesden, F rode in a vintage camper van to drive off to join her bride up the aisle. It was an emotional walk for both before tying the knot with both a registrar and then having a blessing with a minister. Ernie was particularly excited by the celebrations, running around the hall the entire time, saying hello to every guest he could.
The sun came out as everyone piled outside to mingle and drink, before cracking on with a few group shots (all done within 10 mins!) and a few pics with Ernie before he went back home. Time for tea, as Eat Me Drink Me served up an epic meal before some hilarious speeches. I think Ruth should be doing stand up if you ask me!
The evening continued on, the band set up and soon it was time to dance… and have a singing competition, limbo, and karaoke. A evening no short of fun! It was a fabulous day packed with emotion and a pleasure to capture. F+S, have the best time on your honeymoon and I hope you love the pics x
