East Riddlesden Hall Wedding. Now, some of you may have noticed, I’ve photographed a lot of weddings at East Riddlesden Hall this year. Eleven, to be precise hah! So just before I introduce the last one of 2018, I just want to say thank you so much to all the wonderful staff. Hayley, Chloe, Emma, Agatha, and all the fantastic others, you are simply brilliant at your jobs. It’s been a pleasure working with you so regularly this year, thank you. Now, onto another wonderful member of the East Riddlesden staff…

Here’s Amy and James getting hitched on Saturday at Amy’s workplace, the tearooms at East Riddlesden. She loves it there so much! I’ve been really excited for this one since A+J’s Saltaire engagement shoot (check it out here). Now all the leaves have turned golden brown, and the crisp autumnal season is in full flow, I was extra keen to make use of every seasonal colour the venue had to offer.

Simply put, their wedding was so much fun. And the photographs look so happy, because their guests just had the best time. Amy, knowing East Riddlesden Hall inside out, couldn’t have made the venue more her own. It was great photographing something a little different too; James’ parents are deaf and had a sign language translator on the day. It was such a lovely addition capturing the ceremony through sign.

Wedding brass band, Twisted Tubes made a superb surprise appearance as the ceremony ended. The Hog and Apple served up some unbelievable pork. Not forgetting the fortress of a chocolate cake served up for dessert. Some real wedding supplier treasures here!

Now, wedding photographers don’t usually say they hope for rain, but I actually had my fingers crossed for it to pour it down in the evening hah! My wedding wish was granted, and these night portraits of A+J were the result. Look how in love these two truly are. After eleven years together, they couldn’t be closer, and getting this across through imagery was such an honour.
