WINNER OF THE 2026 BEST WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER IN YORKSHIRE & NORTH EAST – THE WEDDING INDUSTRY AWARDS 


My mum and I had one of the best nights ever. The feeling when my name was called out was incredible, and I’ll never forget the emotional embrace with my Mum when I came off stage.

I last entered the awards in 2020 and 2021 and took home regional highly commended both years. I’ve worked so hard since then, now I love my style and approach more than ever – I’m so thrilled to have won at this stage in my career.

There were 22 other incredible wedding photographers nominated in our region, and how the judges managed to choose a winner in the most popular category, I honestly have no idea. Huge congrats to my friend @jennakathleenphotographer (who I’ve been honoured to have second-shot with me a few times this year) for winning Highly Commended, she’d be the winner in my eyes if I was judging – her work is phenomenal. And massive congrats to last year’s winner @annabeth.photos too for also being awarded Highly Commended, hugely talented!!

Thank you to the moon and back to the couples who voted for me. Thank you to the ten couples who took the time to come to my house and help me make my entry video, it is sensational, I’ll never be more grateful to them for this. Finally thanks to the almighty pro-photographer judges for making the toughest decision any judge could possibly make in this competition!!

I’ve also been published across some local media outlets – the Yorkshire Evening Post, the Telegraph & Argus, the Wharfedale Observer, the Ilkley Gazette, Leeds Arts University & Bradford Grammar School.

Congrats to all the award winners and highly commended finalists – I was so proud of so many of these businesses. My embrace with best caterer Danny @theoutside_kitchen when I’d won, tequila shots with best hairstylist @zoenicole_hair , celebrating into the early hours with the @whitesykefieldsweddings girls, catching up with the loveliest person on the planet @truetoyoucelebrancy, reuniting with @thevenuebowersmill team who are all just the best. It was an evening of beautiful love and positivity, it couldn’t have been more wonderful – thank you @twia_official for everything.

Now I’m a NATIONAL FINALIST – which means I’ll see you in January in Liverpool for the national finals!!
