Hamish Irvine Photographer Package & Price
I like to keep things simple.
Before every wedding, I do a pre-wedding shoot, it’s the chance for you to experience how I work and for us to get to know each other a little more before the wedding day. You’ll leave with cheek ache, confidence and even more excitement for the big day.
Unlimited hours of fun-fuelled, natural, colourful wedding photography. I start early, and stay late. I join the preparations in the morning (both sides if possible), and capture your day till well after the party’s popped off, and Grandma’s burning up the dance floor to ABBA. I leave when you and I feel we’ve nailed it – usually a couple or more hours after the first dance.
I’ll send you 10-20 photographs within a few days of your wedding (sometimes the day after if I’m free!) so you can spam social media and spread the excitement!
Unlimited High Resolution images – expect a minimum of 600 or more from your day within 6 after the wedding. I’ll upload them all to my online gallery, where you can download all the images to your computer or device, whenever, wherever (it’s easier than losing a USB! But if you want one, they are available!) All images are individually edited with my signature colourful style, with a specially selected bunch duplicated into classic black and white.
A video slideshow of the photos is the best way to experience your images for the very first time. I put together a special slideshow of your day with music, to make a 5-10 minute video. The slideshow’s an excuse to have the family over, pop the bubbly and re-live all the tears!
Share all your images with my grandparent-friendly online gallery. Yourselves, any of your friends and family can view all your photographs, and order professional quality printed photographs straight to their door.
(Weddings in London and surrounding areas are £2000)

I love an intimate small wedding and shoot many every year! And with Covid-19 guest numbers limitations and time restrictions currently, this could be the option for you. Get in touch and check my availability, you can drop me a message here or just give me a buzz. I’ll get back to you straight away 🙂
Do you offer a second shooter?
Yes! Ensure your gallery’s full of candids by bringing in another photographer. What’s your guest number? Above 100? I’d recommend considering a second shooter. If you’re above 125 guests, I think a second shooter is essential to guarantee we do your day justice.
I’ll join the girls, they’ll join the lads, concentrating on capturing your guests enjoying the day till the first dance. No time wasted driving between preparations. You won’t feel crowded, our fly on the wall style ensures that. It would be someone as qualified as me, weirdly humoured with a similar style to mine.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, I’ll travel anywhere in the UK and the world for weddings. I charge travel and accommodation expenses, and keep them as low as I possibly can. I’m a big fan of AirBnB, the M1 and awkward train times.
What Albums do you offer?
Go head over to the albums page to browse the range of colourful, leather bound, personally designed books.
Can we meet to see if you’re the right fit for us?
I’d love to meet you before you book me! It’s important that you like my style of work, but even more so that you are comfortable with me and feel like we gel. It’s also a great opportunity for me to get to know you a little bit, which allows me to reflect more of your personality and character in the photographs. I’m always happy to do a Skype or Facetime date if that’s easier too.
What is your booking process?
I’ve got a contract to sign and a £400 deposit. Once I’ve received both, you’re fully booked in! If you wish to read the contract, please get in touch on the contact form.
Are you insured and do you carry back up equipment?
Yes, I have public liability, public indemnity insurance, and carry two back up cameras and a range of back up lenses. I would rather be safe than sorry!
How long have you been working as a photographer?
Pretty much all my life! From a very early age I was obsessed with photographs, cameras and storytelling. All of my Dad’s side of the family are journalists, I’ve always figured they tell stories through words, and I do through images. I got into wedding photography when I was 13, assisting and second shooting pros throughout my school years, then I went onto study a degree in photography at Leeds Arts University, with which I graduated with a First Class Honours. Throughout my uni years I built up my own business photographing weddings and freelancing shooting advertising, events, portraits, and interestingly squash photography (not the vegetable…or the drink…the sport haha).
