NATIONALLY HIGHLY COMMENDED WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER 2026 – THE WEDDING INDUSTRY AWARDS
My 30th birthday celebrations continued with the UK national final of the 2026 wedding photographer of the year competition – I finished in the top two in the country, second only to the incredible Olly Knight, amongst ten other winners of each region in the UK.
I’m thrilled, honoured, humbled. The highly commended award sits next to my 2026 Yorkshire and North East England wedding photographer of the year prize. What a start to this year and my 30s! Onwards and upwards. To be in the top two wedding photographers awarded by The Wedding Industry Awards is an incredible feat.
It was a pleasure to be interviewed by the Yorkshire Evening Post, celebrating coming nationally highly commended. I was featured when I won the Best Wedding Photographer in Yorkshire and the North East just a couple of months before too. To see my face in the paper was quite a moment! I’m proud to have been featured on the Ilkley Gazette, Wharfedale Observer, the Liverpool Standard and the Telegraph and Argus too.
Massive congratulations to the lovely Olly. The standards brought by all the finalists were off the charts. Thank you to the judges, organisers, but most especially to my wedding couples who nominated me and have provided some incredible feedback:
“Guests were convinced he was a triplet – in 3 places at once. He is an artist and true professional, and the photos are simply stunning.
“Time and again, our friends and family have commented on how brilliant the photos were. It’s genuinely the one thing that people keep bringing up months after the wedding – the photos! So glad we picked him.”
Thank you everyone x
