(If you haven’t seen Part 1 of Keertana & Tom’s story, their incredibly colourful haldi ceremony, you must see it here!)
Keertana & Tom’s story began over a cup of Yorkshire tea ☕️
During their first year of uni living at the same halls, Keertana invited Tom over for that famous brew. Was it just a cup of tea? Was it just a date? They soon realised they were each other’s cup of tea.
Flash forward and it’s their wedding day at one of Yorkshire’s most beautiful venues Wharfedale Grange They fused their Indian & Scottish cultures together magnificently; a romping ceilidh, a Telegu Hindu wedding ceremony in the sunshine, drinking whiskey from the quaich and a feast of traditional foods.
Under the mandap, Keertana and Tom’s emotions overcame them, separated only by a sheet of cloth. Tom stood with his parents’ arms around him, Keertana with her parents holding her hands — each family passing their son and daughter into the hands of their love. A beautiful moment.
Thanks so much for having me Keertana & Tom, at both your events. A fantastic two day celebration that will be remembered by everyone as so special forever.
