The surrounding areas of York is brimming with wedding venues, and Woolas Barn is one of York’s best barn wedding venues. I love photographing Woolas Barn weddings, and one of my favourites ever there is Emma & Andy’s.

The VW beetle, the barn, the dress, the confetti, all that autumnal Yorkshire wedding goodness is such amazing inspiration for anyone getting married in the autumnal months. It was such a stunning day, and after getting to know Emma & Andy so well with them living round the corner from me in Chapel Allerton, Leeds and going up to the lake district for a combined night away and pre-wedding shoot, I was photographing my good friends’ wedding.

I’ll always look back as one of the most beautifully styled weddings and so full of love. Congratulations again you two x
