New Craven Hall Wedding Photography

Think my career peaked yesterday. Liv & Tom, I love you x

I market myself as a ‘fun wedding photographer’ (it always looks quite intense when you receive an insta message from me cos it just says in capitals FUN WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER has sent you a message haha), and I feel Liv & Tom were the fuel to my fire of fun.

It was a wonderfully loud, full of laughter morning with the girls at the Queens Hotel in Leeds, and the very suave looking boys in Roundhay bow-tying up. There was so much more to come – a baked bean and jacket potato wedding buffet by the Hog and Apple, Daphne the pooch keeping every company, Hazel the Rainbow celebrant’s amazing ceremony.

New Craven Hall, Leeds’s best alternative wedding venue, was host to Liv & Tom’s perfect wedding day. The sun shone out, and I jumped on every opportunity to make urban wedding photography in Leeds. It is a really unusual venue, with its challenges. But these challenges make me love my job, and the bypass was one of my favourite parts to this venue. It’s so rare to be somewhere so urban, but being a bride and groom amongst it all looks really cool. And the light was immense that day, it couldn’t have been more perfect.

The Me & You mural by Anthony Burrill in Leeds is one of my favourite wedding photography locations, it is also one of my favourite Leeds street art pieces. I love the Me & You mural so much, I have it printed, and signed, above my bed in my house. So how can it not be the best Leeds location for wedding photography? The portrait of Liv & Tom at the mural is one of my favourite photographs I’ve ever taken.
