Lovely Sophie & Elliott’s Sheffield urban Inox Dine wedding
Inox Dine Wedding Photography
Inox Dine Wedding Photography. The pressure was on for me at Sophie & Elliott’s Inox Dine wedding, as Elliott was once a wedding photographer himself! Not only is this a pressure, but also quite a compliment to be chosen by someone already talented at your own job. It was a great privilege to be chosen, and I wouldn’t have wished anyone else to have been in my place as this celebration was such a brilliant wedding to be a part of.
Sophie & Elliott are another couple who just feel like great friends, once again taking the job beyond feeling like ‘work’. After a colourful and exciting Sheffield pre wedding shoot (which there are a few of right down at the bottom), we were all geared up for their day at Inox Dine.
These guys originally met at school, but didn’t really know each other properly until they bumped into each other a few years later at a spinning class (my worst nightmare) and hit it off big time on the bikes!
A new Sheffield wedding venue for me to get my photography claws into, Inox dine is a fancy restaurant on the top floor of the Sheffield University Students Union. Offering some great views over the city, and plenty of urban hotspots for portraits, I was excited to begin the day.
It was a bit of a logistical maze in the morning as I zipped between one side of the city to the other with the girls at the Grain Warehouse and the boys at the Rutland Hotel. It was an emotional morning for the two of them as they traded gifts separately, and both were in tears. Just look at those pictures!
It was great to capture another humanist ceremony at this wedding, as we’re seeing more and more these days. We danced out the building and crossed over to Weston Park to grab the group shots, throw some confetti and snap a few portraits before speeches.
Elliott’s little one Polly had a wonderful day dancing and running around being super cute at the wedding. My favourite part had to be her eating a huge red and blue lolly during the ceremony, and sticking her tongue out at me during the vows!
The day flew by as they always do, and before we knew it the dancing had kicked off, and all the girls were on the floor at the end of the Time Warp, and then grease came on and every boy transformed into Danny Zuko and girl, Sandra Dee. S+E placed a bubble machine on a ledge above the dancefloor, pouring out bubbles into the dancefloor- what a great idea. Every one of my future couples should steal this idea haha!
So I hope you all love every picture, as much as I did capturing them. And there’s a whole lot more to come on the USB so sit tight for that surprise in the post soon!
Thanks once again Sophie & Elliott you legends! Keep in touch x
