Zaib & Gohir’s crisp and cold, warm and heartfelt wedding at Wharfedale Grange

Wharfedale Grange Wedding Photos. A rare Tuesday wedding for me, and the highlight of my week, as Zaib and Gohir tied the knot in a ray of epic colour at a cold and crisp winter Wharfedale Grange wedding in Harewood.
This is the third Wharfedale Grange wedding I’ve photographed this year, and it’s been amazing to see the Harrogate wedding venue in the different seasons. I arrived and it was super frozen over, still looking magical as the field would in summer just nicely different.
I joined Zaib as she got glammed up in Wharfedale’s Grange’s hidden room upstairs, and soon Gohir arrived in a fleet of cool cars shortly after. It was a nice twist in the day as Zaib and Gohir had the traditional Muslim wedding ceremony, the Nikah, and went onto sealing the marriage legally with the registrars straight after.
A highlight of the day was certainly the Chinese lanterns Zaib and Gohir lit up in the evening, and just simply wouldn’t take off. The air was way too cold! It was really hilarious, especially as one finally floated up into the air, then caught fire a few seconds later. We did eventually get one going, and everyone cheered away. But I liked the fail more, not everything goes perfectly at weddings and they can make the best shots!
Such a colourful and wonderful day wasn’t it? Congratulations Zaib & Gohir, I hope you love all the pics!! xx
