Fazenda Headrow House Leeds Wedding Photography. Introducing the brightest and biggest smiles from Saturday that are sure to bring some light to your week! It’s a been a pretty tough week for us all, so I’m hoping some of these amazingly fun photos can bring a smile to your face.
Memory & Liam celebrated their wedding day across Leeds, starting with their wedding ceremony at Leeds town Hall, before walking down to Fazenda for the wedding breakfast, and finally for the party, Headrow House (a personal favourite bar of mine!)
This was my first wedding of the season, back from my trip, and I was buzzing to start. I know Memory from studying photography at Leeds Arts University, where we studied alongside each other. Memory herself is a wedding photographer, so it was quite an honour to be chosen by such a skilled and talented individual such as herself.
With the ceremony at 10am in the morning it was an early start for sure. I join the boys to suit Liam up in his incredibly smart and suave RAF uniform. I don’t think anything’s had me laughing that much early in the morning as Liam’s RAF sword engraving. Engraved into the metal is the classic Lord of the Rings line ‘forged in the fire of Mount Doom’. Liam reached legend status in my mind at that moment.
Over with the girls, at just 8am in the morning, I arrive and Memory’s Mum is dancing like it’s 11pm at Carnival round the room, music blasting out. A brilliant start to what was to be a brilliant day. Fast forward to the ceremony, and the tears were flowing as the bride walked in, all the way through to them walking out to the congrats and hugs. The meat was awaiting us at Fazenda (if you haven’t been before, it’s a fancy Brazilian traditional restaurant, all you can eat meat and salad-incredible). After group shots, and some really fun portraits in and outside the town Hall, we got down to Fazenda for speeches and feeding time.
I was lucky enough to be seated with Memory and Liam’s friends for the meal, and I enjoyed myself so much between photographing! Thanks for seating me guys, means so much to me! The party atmosphere was building as the guests raced to finish the bar tab as it needed completing, which is always fun at a wedding. Then for the final part of the wedding, at Headrow House.
Headrow House in Leeds is a funky, flash popular bar where I go to for quite a few gigs every year, and it turned out to be a cracking space for a wedding party. Memory and Liam entered in dancing and hollaring, and the dancing began immediately and never stopped, and this was at 6.30pm! The afrobeat and dancehall tunes were blasting out, and Memory’s family were on form, some of the dance moves on show were insanely smooth. Some of the best dancing I’ve seen at a wedding, honestly. I was jealous. I joined in the party after putting my camera down, and got pretty jiggy with it, and the night was history!
Hope you love the photos, and you’re excited to see the rest guys. Thanks again for having me, love you both so much and can’t wait to hang out more! Hamish x
