East Riddlesden Hall Weddings Photography | Nic and Pete | Hamish Irvine Photographer
It’s East Riddlesden Hall weddings blog time, and this one goes out to our Bride Nic as it’s her Birthday today. So I thought I’d turn the images around and get them online for you for your annual celebratory day of birth! Happy Birthday Nic 🙂
So Nic and Pete married last week at East Riddlesden Hall. It rained all day (apart from a gap in the clouds I pounced on for portraits during the meal!), but N+P didn’t let this dampen their spirit! It was brilliant to see everyone have so much fun inside and make the most out of the incredible venue, East Riddlesden Hall.
I joined the girls in the morning just before the twins arrived, who just go crazy everywhere as you’ll definitely see from the pictures. Nic’s a hairdresser and pretty much everyone else in the house were too, and looked stunning.
Now Pete had such an emotional reaction as he turned to look at Nic walking the aisle. It was a beautiful moment and a ceremony I will never forget, as even I got emotional. How can you not, just look at that face!
The congratulations began, then all of a sudden, the rain stopped and the sun came out. We piled outside, took the fastest everyone shot ever and just as we threw the confetti, the heavens opened again. The five minute window was up, but we’d gotten the shot. Back inside for mingles and group shots all around Stems Design‘s beautiful blossom trees as we were entertained by the talented guitarist and singer, Stephen Heath.
The speeches were great, a highlight being the groomsmen revealing a huge photograph of the Groom’s short lived modelling career over ten years ago. Hah! The speeches were followed by the Hog and Apple serving up their incredible dishes. But the rain was on pause, so we jumped outside to capture some portraits in the sun before the evening commenced and party began.
Capturing the dance floor at this wedding was like no other. Nic knows every single word to So Solid Crew’s 21 Seconds to Go. She knows them so well, she got up on stage and gave the crowd a performance. And it was actually quite impressive. The drinks were going down fast with the sound of Ibiza house classics as the dance floor filled up under the DJing talent of Danny Barnett of Jonny Ross Music.
And that was their wedding! Happy Birthday once again Nic, have a great day and I hope you both love the pics x
