Love in golden light. Rachel & Jack’s Perfectly autumnal Micro-Wedding
Rudding Park Covid Micro Wedding | Hamish Irvine Photographer | Harrogate Wedding Photography
On Sunday I joined Rachel & Jack for their Rudding Park micro wedding in Harrogate. I hope you loved the pics!!
Firstly, how lucky were these guys with this weather and light? The UK’s forecast in the middle of the storm, but the clouds parted for Rachel & Jack. They’ve had a difficult past few months having to postpone their original wedding date to next year, but this didn’t stop them celebrating with their closest few for a small wedding ceremony and reception.
There was a special atmosphere in the air, that this was finally happening. Jack’s Mum sat at the front couldn’t hold back her excitement and tears in the ceremony, you could really feel the joy and celebration in the air for them. Dad walked Rachel down the aisle with tears sparkling above his face mask.
I was only with Rachel & Jack at Rudding for a couple of hours, but packed plenty in. The sunlight was honestly perfect: it glowed through the trees around Rudding, casting crisp orange light across the lawns, backlighting our Bride and Groom with a luscious soft glow. I love this time of year for love!
I can’t wait to continue capturing their party in a year’s time. It was brilliant meeting everyone, so now let’s roll on 2021!!
