A perfect country winter wedding in the sun: Jemma & Sam at Hornington Manor
All Saints Bolton Percy Wedding Photography | Jemma & Sam | Hamish Irvine Photographer
Such a beautiful wedding! Just goes to show, no matter what capacity your wedding is in, it will always be the best day ever. Jemma & Sam were so loved up all day, surrounded by their closest family. After a difficult year, the love was really in the air with everyone. There were some beautiful moments to capture of emotion in the church, during speeches and all throughout. Amongst some keen snooker action, belly laugh out loud group shots, and brilliant banter from Best man through the day.
I arrived in the morning, watched by the sheep basking in the morning sun! Jemma was getting all prepped and ready with her bridesmaid in the suite, and Brittany Jae MUA glamming the girls up. We’re still under the 15 guest restrictions – I’m so used to photographing a whole team of girls in the mornings, so with just a couple it’s a lot more relaxed and chilled, and allows more space to get creative!
Jemma looked absolutely stunning in her Stella York dress from Ava Rose Hamilton in Silsden. Local florist, Wild Floral Couture popped in to surprise Jemma with the flowers. After
Jemma & Sam had the brightest, sunniest and most striking light I’ve seen on a weekend in months. It was that real winter light, when the sun’s low in the sky and intense. The church had such beautiful shards of light beaming down the aisle, and didn’t go away for the whole day. What a photographic treat, and keeping everyone warm in the sun of course!
Hornington Manor‘s just down the road from All Saints Bolton Percy church, it’s perfectly located for a beautiful Yorkshire church wedding and barn wedding combo. Doylys Tea Room in between the two swung by with afternoon tea for everyone too. Such a local wedding this one!
Hope you love the shots, can’t wait to share the rest with you all! Congrats again you two x
